Native Wild Flowers The Spurge Family (Euphorbiaceae) The Spurge Family is a large family of flowering plants, represented in the UK by both annuals, perennials and shrubby species. The are also found on a wide variety of habitats, from sand dunes, wasteland, cultivated ground and woodland. It must be noted that the sap of many of the species is often poisonous and can irritate both skin and eyes, so care must be taken when handling these plants.
